MC Motorsports recently announced that they would be firing Logan Boldt, who raced the team's #48 entry full time in all participating series. The move was done because Logan Boldt was just "too out of hand" and had a bad reputation amongst most drivers who race in our participating series.

"When it gets to the point where other drivers are wrecking us because of one of our teammate's bad driving, that's when you know you have a problem," Marty Cmejla said. The firing was well praised amongst fellow racers in our participated series.

Logan Boldt had a solid tenure with MC Motorsports, recording 2 wins in 69 starts. He had 7 podiums, 17 Top 5s, 43 Top 10s, and 62 Top 20s, with 2 poles on top of that. He had a best finish of 1st, a worst finish of 34th, and an all-time average finish of 10.51. Both of his wins came in the R2R SimStock Motorsport Club, which is our most successful series as a team in 2026.

Logan’s first win was with the Legends cars at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Infield Road Course. Logan survived late-race chaos after Marty Cmejla and Wyatt Blair got together. Michael Goode, who jumped the restart, was removed from the session giving Logan Boldt the lead and ultimately his first career win. His second win came at Trucks Talladega, where Boldt had a career drive late in overtime.

Logan Boldt races in the Fox River Racing Club at Wisconsin International Raceway in the Super Stock division, driving his #51 Ford Mustang.

With this, some things have changed to adjust the virtual team to the new firing.

#4 Brad Cmejla

The #4 entry for the team remains the exact same. Brad Cmejla has full designed schemes based on his aunt and uncles roofing business: Warner Commercial Roofing.

#8 Marty Cmejla

Marty Cmejla’s entry remains the same with sponsorship primarily from Valley Trusses and Warner Commercial Roofing.

#40 Cadyn Liedke

Cadyn Liedke has barely raced in the last few months, leaving his seat in jeopardy. There are some new prospects for MC Motorsports we will get into later that could take over, but for now Cadyn remains on MCM.

#44 Patrick Connell

Patrick Connell had a record month in July, having a new starts record for a single month with MC Motorsports at 28 starts. Patrick received 1 win in the R2R SimStock series, and had an impressive 4 podiums in his most recent 10 starts altogether. Patrick’s ride remains intact with sponsorship primarily from Q90FM Christian Radio and PC Designs.

#48 Kohler McGillen

Kohler McGillen is an uprising star across the hosted series that we participate in. Kohler and Marty Cmejla had an intense battle at Lime Rock Park in Super Nitro where Cmejla held him off. McGillen raced Cmejla with the upmost respect, never making contact.

“I see a lot of tendencies in Kohler like an early Cameron Face. You just had to see how he would do on your team,” Cmejla said.

With this, Kohler McGillen will be the new temporary driver of the #48 car, on a part-time basis in select starts. The plan is to have Kohler race the #48 until MC Motorsports finds a full-time driver in the coming weeks or months. Kohler will start this week in SimStock and Super Nitro if available.

#80 Cameron Face

Cameron Face, the first modern full-time driver of MC Motorsports not in the Wisconsin club of drivers, continues his tenure with MC Motorsports.

“I am so proud of Cameron still to this day. Always fun to have him on the track and team,” Cmejla said.

Face was removed from MC Motorsports at the start of the 2026 remastering for the team, which saw initially just Brad, Marty, and Cole Trudeau on the team. As races went on, Cmejla realized Face was still needed. Face drove the All-Star #08 entry a few times and still had that dawg in him.

With this Cmejla put Cameron Face full-time in the #80 and has been that way ever since. Face now practically has a lifetime contract with the team.

#84 Cole Trudeau

Cole Trudeau is a busy man off the simulator. Working full time in the trades and busy with his racecar, he hasn’t had a lot of time to get on the simulator this summer. It is expected for him to be back on a consistent basis come the fall stretch. Cole’s schemes now have been updated to have his number decal the bright yellow to resemble his IRL scheme.

#88 Masyn Liedke

Wisconsin Sport Truck star Masyn Liedke continues his tenures with MC Motorsports on the iRacing side. Masyn had a great month of July recording no-worse finish than 13th in 11 starts. So far Masyn has 1 win but has been so close to many more.

PART-TIME RIDES

#04 Entry

The #04 entry will continue to be a rare sight, but it will be driven by Ben Nytes and Oliver Schultz. Ben made 2 starts with MC Motorsports in Super Nitro earlier in the summer. Oliver’s computer is still broken and he hasn’t been able to make his MC Motorsports debut yet.

#08 Entry

The #08 entry has been primarily driven by Wyatt Blair in recent months. Blair is usually tapped to drive in races where a majority of MC Motorsport full-timers are unable to race. Blair has 12 starts with MC Motorsports all-time and 2 wins. Additionally, Logan Boldt is intended to make a few part-time starts.

“While Logan is no longer full-time, he’s still a personal friend and racer with us in-real-life. You could see him make very few starts in the #08 here and there,” Cmejla said.

With that you are all caught up. Now let’s talk about possible replacements for the full-time #48 seat when the time comes, and maybe even the #40 if Cadyn Liedke continues his inactivity.

Kohler McGillen

As talked about above, Kohler is the new part-time driver of the #48, making him an instant prospect for a full-time ride.

“It’s very tough to bring someone not from the Wisconsin-club of drivers into the team. In special cases, like Cameron Face, it just fits right. We’ll see how it feels with Kohler driving in the coming weeks,” Cmejla said.

McGillen already is a proven winner in the Super Nitro series and seems to have some good talents.

Oliver Schultz

Oliver Schultz is the most likely of the Wisconsin Club of drivers to get tapped to drive. The problem is his computer is broken. Schultz races IMCA at local dirt tracks in Wisconsin. Once his computer is fixed and he has time to race, expect him in multiple part-time races.

Logan Liegl

Who? Yes, Logan Liegl. Logan Liegl, the former starting quarterback for the Menasha High School Bluejays Football Team, has a racing passion. He helps with Casey Johnson’s late model team at various races, and recently purchased a simulator and hopes to get iRacing soon. He also intends on getting a 4-cylinder racecar to join the FRRC Sizzlin 4s. Another obvious option for MC Motorsports once the time comes.

Wyatt Blair

Wyatt Blair has been running part time, but like we stated before, Cmejla really prefers for full-timers that he has a personal connection with them in-real-life. Blair has been doing a great job with MC Motorsports, but a lot of the community has a grudge against him.

Ben Nytes

Finally, Ben Nytes. Ben Nytes has raced 2 starts with MC Motorsports, doing a decent job. Ben is likely to remain part-time with MC Motorsports forever, though.

We look forward to seeing how the last month of the Summer Stretch goes for MC Motorsports. Once September comes around it will free up a lot of time for drivers to race. Going to be wild!
